Peter Jones

Author Peter Jones published his book, Spirit Wars: Pagan Revival in Christian America, with WinePress Publishing. After selling over fifteen thousand copies, Regal purchased the rights and re-titled the work, Pagans in the Pews.

Holly Wagner

Holly Wagner originally published her book, Dumb Things She Does . . . Dumb Things He Does, with WinePress. She encouraged many people who purchased the book when she spoke to women’s groups in Australia. Because of the engaging content and warm reader reception, HarperCollins in Australia bought the rights and published two books: Dumb Things We Do and She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not.

Because WinePress highlighted Holly’s book, Dumb Things She Does . . . Dumb Things He Does, at the International Christian Retail Show, she made a significant connection. Thomas Nelson purchased the U.S. rights to the book and republished it with the title Dumb Things He Does/Dumb Things She Does: How to Stop Doing the Things that Drive Women/Men Crazy. Since that time, Holly has signed a multiple-book contract with Thomas Nelson.

Wanda Bolton-Davis

Wanda Bolton-Davis has encouraged over twelve thousand readers with her book, Victorious Disciples. WinePress Publishing continues to fulfill nationwide orders regularly.

Carol Vandesteeg

WinePress released When Duty Calls: A Guide to Equip Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve Personnel and Their Loved Ones for Military Separations in August 2001. With the aftermath of 9/11 and the deployment of troops to fight terrorism, Carol Vandesteeg’s book was in high demand. WinePress contracted with the distributors that sell to the PXs (Post Exchanges) around the world and with wholesalers who sell directly to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. By May of 2005, Carol had sold over twenty-five thousand copies through WinePress. This book was then acquired and re-released by Cook Communications.

Rosey Dow

Professional writer and editor Rosey Dow penned Reaping the Whirlwind. Her historical fiction/murder mystery, which centered on the Scopes Trial, won a Christy Award in 2001, tying for first place in her category with Gilbert Morris. This was the first self-published winner of the highest national award for Christian fiction.

Delane Pennington

Current WinePress author Delane Pennington has helped over six thousand kindergarteners capture memories of their first year in school through her book, Now I Am In Kindergarten.

WinePress helped Ron Eaker, M.D., publish and promote his book, Holy Hormones. Ron later signed a two-book contract with Bethany House for a revised edition of Holy Hormones and his new book, Fat Proof Your Family.

Claude Hickman originally published his book, Live Life on Purpose, with WinePress in 2003. Through frequent speaking engagements with The Traveling Team, Claude has reprinted several times, upgrading from print-on-demand to large offset print runs, and impacted the lives of over twenty thousand readers. 

Heather Paulsen

WinePress published twenty-five hundred copies of Heather Paulsen’s book, Emotional Purity. The first printing sold out, and Heather reprinted ten thousand copies. Partly due to the sales of the second print run, Crossway Books picked up the rights and re-released it.

Dorothy Valcárcel

Dorothy Valcárcel’s agent spent a year pitching her book to royalty publishers with no success. Though some expressed strong interest because of her content and growing platform, her lack of name recognition caused them to pass on the book. WinePress Publishing accepted and published The Man Who Loved Women. After selling through her first print run of five thousand, and half of her second run, her agent connected with Baker Publishing, who then purchased the rights and re-released it as When a Woman Meets Jesus.

Nancy Flowers

Nancy Flowers originally published her book, Tell Somebody It Happened to Me, with WinePress in 2009. In 2011, she partnered with a major ministry, who purchased five thousand copies of her book for Australian elementary schools. The book continues to sell through WinePress Publishing. 

Her next book, No More Bullying, is set to release in 2012.

Charles Patricoff

Charles Patricoff published Separation, the first book in his Destination Hope Series, through WinePress Publishing in 2007. In 2010, two traditional royalty publishers offered him contracts on the entire series. He chose Oak Tara, which has already published the first two books in the series.

Kimberly Smith

Since releasing two books with WinePress, Kimberly Smith has sold over five thousand copies of each. Oh, Be Careful Little Ears and Let Those Who Have Ears to Hear continue to sell well as they address the topic of appropriate contemporary Christian music.
